Craig earned a B.S. in Education from Grand Valley State University and later went on to earn his M.A. in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University. Craig began working with IDI in July 2023. Prior to working with IDI, Craig spent 12 years as a Superintendent and

was the 2021 Michigan Superintendent of the Year. Craig spent 5 years as a teacher and 11 years as a building administrator.

Most valuable contribution to IDI’s team: Craig brings a former superintendent’s perspective to the team on how School Districts operate. This includes relationships with the Board of Education, the community perspective, experiences in Marketing and leadership while navigating the pre-bond process.

Since July 2023, when Craig was hired, he has assisted IDI in the pre-bond process with several Districts. Craig has been involved in over $120 million in pre-bond work, including projects in Pine River, Bridgeport, Vanderbilt, Alma, Pinconning, St. Charles, Lakers, Cass City and Harbor Beach.
